Flares Are Fab And Oh So Flattering For All

In my latest post for SSS I’m covering why flares are fab and oh so flattering for all. Not sure what to wear on Thanksgiving day, your next date night or GNO? Well then this post is for you! I for one do not get overly dressed up for Thanksgiving. Typically I wear jeans and something soft and comfy with it. These flared jeans are slightly stretchy (which is great for Thanksgiving lol), but not too much because I don’t like my jean to be too loose but rather hold everything in nicely. They pull and lift in all the right places and could not be any more flattering whether you’ve got a bootie or you don’t. If your one of those that do, then it lifts it. If you don’t have a bootie then they known to help create the illusion of one for you. And who doesn’t want or love that?

This is my first of many holiday shopping lists. I’ve done all the hard work for you. All you have to do is see what you’re loved one will like best! Lots and lots of gifts under $50 for your mom, sister, bestie you name it. I even have great stocking stuffer ideas, teacher gifts and even a hostess gift or two. These gifts are sure to get you holiday ready for that special girl in your life. I’ve got my eye on some of these for myself (& this one too) and I may or may not already own a few of them as well…but don’t tell on me.;) You might also remember recently when I did my post on my Nordstrom Anniversay Sale Picks as well.

Be sure to keep checking back SSS as well because I will continually be adding new items to all of my upcoming holiday lists. This is in fact one of my favorite times of year! There is no need to look any further for all of your holiday gift giving because I have got you covered. Who wants to hit the mall madness anyways this time of year? Cool & Casual For Fall

What’s your go-to look for a GNO or date night? For me that’s easy, no doubt it would be a tee, jeans & boots. These always make me feel cool & casual for fall or for that matter any time of year. This particular look is on the more casual side. But for a dressier look you could easily change the top from a tee to a blouse or sweater and the boot from a flat boot to one with a higher, dressier heel. You might also remember my post from #NYFW where I wore a fab tee bodysuit with jeans, a bomber & heels for a dressier look.

By now y’all know that I went to the University of Texas at Austin and I love me some college football. Best of all last Friday the Texas State Fair opened. And what’s better than The Texas State Fair and Texas/Ou Weekend combined into one fun day? That would be absolutely nothing in my book. It seriously is one of the best days of the year (that I always look forward to) when you can combine all my fall favorites: yummy food, lots of fun, tons festivities, and of course last but definitely not least always some football.

SSS ‘Dare to Wear’ Fall Fashion Show for Neiman Marcus

We celebrated the Art of Fashion on Saturday, September 10th. I hosted, emceed and styled the SSS ‘Dare to Wear’ Fall Fashion Show for Neiman Marcus Northpark along with the fabulous Robyn Chauvin. Robyn is the Neiman Marcus advanced contemporary buyer. It was so great to see all of your there! It was such an amazing event and fabulous day of fall fashions for all. The turnout for the fashion show was unbelievable! We had 153 rsvp’s. And I would say that there was even more that actually attended the event than that.
