It’s that time of year again – Back to School and/or Back to College. To help us with the process I’m sharing our Dorm Room Reveal featuring Pottery Barn Dorm. Plus this mom’s tips on college drop off survival tips for both parents and students. I personally couldn’t have loved my college experience anymore. Both of my big girls are actually attending the same college that their dad and I both met and graduated from. I just attended the 2019 rewardStyle Conference for the third year in a row. Today I’ll be sharing what I wore at #rstheCon. As most of you know I just began my blog a little over 3 years ago. To even be included in this conference each year you have to be among the top 200 producing influencers. Therefore it is always an honor to be included. This conference is called #rstheCon. It is the annual blogger conference put on by rewardStyle that connects bloggers with brands for partnerships.

Once again this year I’ve decided to not share any resolutions and instead set some new intentions and some wellness tips. We all must do what works for us and for me I just end up breaking those a few days or weeks in. So today I share my 2019 New Year’s Intentions & Wellness Tips For A Better You. Not sure about each of you but I am definitely in need of a little detox from my recent trip to the beach. I enjoyed myself but I did fall off the wagon just a bit as far as my healthy eating and drinking goes. I do believe in moderation and I did still workout while on vacation (just obviously not as often as I do when I’m home) but I am ready to get back on my normal healthy track.

I just returned from my Mother/Daughter Senior Spring Break trip from the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas. If you’re a regular here at SSS I think it’s pretty obvious that I love going to the beach or anywhere that’s warm for that matter. I’m excited to start focusing on my travels more and sharing them with each of you. Today I am happy to say that my five-night, six-day stay with my oldest daughter and her best friends from high school at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar was a total success. Originally we were going to travel to Cancun. But with some recent happenings in the news we all decided to look into other options since we weren’t going to be traveling with our husbands for this trip. Jamaica, Punta Cana and Costa Rica were close runner-ups but eventually the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar won the majority vote. The Baha Mar Resort is divided into three sections: the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar (where I stayed), the SLS Baha Mar, and the Rosewood Baha Mar will be opening June 2018. I had a wonderful start to 2018 celebrating with family and dear friends by a bonfire on the beach with way too many fireworks (two extra-large boxes from Costco to be exact, we never thought it would end) and lots of food and drink for all! With all the fun and excitement of the New Year we must also remember that this is a time of reflection on our previous year. What can we work on going forward? What should we try to do more of or less of in 2018? What are some positive ways that we can not only do better for ourselves but for others as well? I’ve decided that this year I am done with resolutions! No more for me. We all must do what works for us and for me I just end up breaking those a few days or weeks in and then I’m done. So this year I have decided to set some intentions instead. I’m thrilled to share today my Intentions, Wellness Tips, and a Few Favorite Things for 2018.
