Any person who believes Matthew 22: “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself” should agree. We are all created equally by Christ – it’s as simple as that.

Black-Owned Businesses I Love, Support & Recommend:

1. Brother Vellies: is a brand of luxury shoes and handbags that takes inspiration from the rustic charm of African cultures. You might remember that back in 2017 I featured their beautiful sustainable sandals on my instagram HERE & HERE.
2. The McBride Sisters: Founders Robin and Andréa McBride didn’t know about each other for half of their lives, and when they finally met in 1999 they bonded over their love for wine.

Model-turned-designer Liya Kebede founded LemLem as a way to preserve weaving techniques of her native Ethiopia and simultaneously create jobs for local artisans. Her resortwear is locally sourced cotton that’s detailed with vibrant embroidery on each piece.
6. Golde: is wellness brand that I love. The Matcha Turmeric Superfood Latte is my favorite!
