The procedure itself truly wasn’t that bad! Keep in mind, I only did my chest and my neck. However, I felt super comfortable. The staff informed me of everything I needed to know as well as answered all of my questions thoroughly. I received their numbing cream on these areas which made the procedure even easier and so very doable. Enlighten MD made me feel right at home. I was even able to watch tv in a comfy robe while the cream kicked in. Trust me, it’s so worth it, and I’m so happy with the outcome. Pre-quarantine beach trip.  Plus I continue to wear my favorite sunscreen of course everyday! You might remember me telling you about them before:

 1. The Only Face Sunscreen that I use (also found here) at the beach or for long outdoor activities. The reason it works is because it is tinted and combines the functionality of a primer/foundation with the anti-aging benefits of a serum to protect, correct and smooth skin. I mostly use the light/medium color but when I’m darker I can use the the medium color as well.
2. The  Only Body Sunscreen (also found here & here is a stick version also) that covers well enough and works to block the sun on my chest, neck and hands. It’s highly effective, broad spectrum SPF 50+ provides protection from UV rays and is enhanced with water or sweat. The “WetForce” technology provides the skin a protective layer that becomes stronger as it comes into contact with water or perspiration. So The more you sweat or enjoy water activities, the stronger the shield’s function gets.

Before this Photofacial, I had several red moles aka “cherry angiomas.” These red marks appear on those  30 years and older. They are small blood vessels clustered together that give off a red appearance. I also had dark sun spots and small blood vessels that all basically disappeared after this photofacial!

In conclusion, I couldn’t be happier with my results. I’d also be interested in maybe treating other parts of my body in the future like my face. Or even try a Fraxel Procedure to work in combination with my Photofacial.

The staff is very well trained and definitely and does all that latest skin treatments. Some others that are very popular that they do are: ultherapy (my results from this procedure will be coming to the blog soon as well), botox, juvederm, laser hair removal and permanent brow makeup (another treatment I’m wanting to try next) many more.
