Little White Lace Dress~Every Girls Dream
I truly have an obsession with little white lace dresses (every girls dream) and of course anything Self-Portrait right now. Especially anything with delicate lace always catches my eye. And what does every piece by Self-Portrait have in common? You guessed it…delicate, exquisite lace. I am constantly checking my “shops I love” section on my website in search of the next new, fabulous blouse or dress by them.
The exact dress I am wearing is from spring ’16 (and of course sold out everywhere), but I found some similar white Self-Portrait dresses here and here that are both just as stunning as mine. One thing I must remind you of though is that this brand runs small so you must size up!
When I first saw this dress online I knew I had to have it. And when I received it in the mail I fell in love all over again! It was honestly even more gorgeous in person. The details on this dress are just so stunning and the white lace oh so delicate. Another wonderful feature about this LWD is that it packs well because the lace doesn’t wrinkle easily. I just love how the tiered lace falls down from the waist on this dress. I think an A-line skirt truly is the most flattering that anyone can ever wear. Here is a beautiful Self-Portrait skirt that is exactly like the bottom of my dress. And it would be absolutely perfect with just a simple tank.
I’ve dressed this LWD up with heels for dinner for a dressier look and flat sandals for a more casual day/brunch look. I absolutely love my white dresses as much as I do my black ones. And I often wear my white dresses into fall by just adding layers and boots to them. Here I’ve finished off my look with some simple nude heels to elongate my legs (because I’m so long-waisted with shorter legs, I definitely need help in this area) and finally added my favorite jewelry by Harper Hallam.
