My White Ways

For me Springtime means only one thing: I can wear white whenever I want and I won’t have others wondering, “is it too soon to pull out the white jeans yet?”

It reminds of me of the times when I was a child and my mom would say, “You can’t wear white yet, its not Easter”. In today’s fashion forward world, rules about what you can wear at certain times of year are old school and don’t apply any longer. With our ever evolving styles, I believe the new rules for fashion are that there are no rules! You can wear what you want, when you want, and however you want.

I love to wear anything with a rough edge. To me it just says cool, casual, and always gives off a modern vibe. Examples of this are my new frayed denim espadrille, and my white denim skirt. My favorite way to wear clothing with these jagged rips and tears is by mixing it with something more delicate and classic, like my butterfly-sleeve white blouse  It gives a fabulous juxtaposition of tough and tender.
