NEW ‘STREET EDIT’ FEATURING AO.LA DENIM BY ALICE AND OLIVIA
Another ‘Street Edit’ with good friend Heather Anderson of SoHeather, and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger featuring AO.LA Denim. Today I’m introducing AO.LA Denim: a capsule collection from Alice + Olivia that was born and raised in Los Angeles (thus the name) and made to dress your inner rockstar. When one of you favorite designers decides to finally do a denim line you are no doubt thrilled and all over it. This is a new denim line from AO.LA. It is a capsule collection by of my favorite designers Alice + Olivia. Mine are called the AO.LA Good High-Rise Ankle Skinny Jean (distressed pair here I also own & similar for less here & here) that run TTS. But if you’re a regular here on SSS then you know I prefer my denim fitted so I actually sized down to a 25 in mine. They are not that stretchy so they hold you in, in all the right places and keep their shape without stretching out. This new denim line was “born and raised in Los Angeles and made to dress your inner rockstar. Plus, 10% of net proceeds will be donated to the GOOD+ Foundation which fights poverty by providing families in need with essential services and products.” I just love it when a fabulous fashion purchase benefits those in need. Therefore, no guilty purchase whatsoever here. These jeans can only be found at Neiman Marcus and directly through Alice & Olivia.
Paired with my denim is my super soft and comfy Free People Weekend Getaway Cardigan (similar here) now is 40% off, only $76 and comes in three beautiful colors too! I just love the name of this sweater because who doesn’t love to grab a soft, cozy cardigan for your fun weekend adventures. Not sure about you but I’m always cold. In my opinion Free People runs slightly big so I sized down to a XS and it was perfect.
