If there’s one brand that consistently creates pieces that are feminine and covered in lace yet have an tough cool, edge to them it’s Self-Portrait. They always seem to make you look twice by adding sheer panels and overlays to their always gorgeous blouses and dresses. I will no doubt be packing this Self-Portrait ruffle lace blouse as well as several other Self-Portrait pieces this week for New York Fashion Week. You can always count on this brand to help you look and feel feminine and gorgeous no matter where your going. You might also remember some other times I wore this same brand most recently here, here, and here.

I’m wearing the stunning Self-Portrait Hudson Dot-Mesh Poplin Top (also found here in navy and similar for less here, here & similar dress for less here). I do want to remind you all though when ordering that this brand that it runs small so you must size up! I sized up to a 6. The London-based clothing brand was launched in 2013 by Central Saint Martins alumnus Han Chong. The Malaysian native desired to create a contemporary line of cocktail dresses, jackets, and separates worthy of the red carpet. I think he nailed it, and so do his many celeb fans.

My denim is by the always amazing brand Mother. It’s called the Mother Dazzler Shift Jean (also found here & also found here with rips , here & here & similar for less here, here & here) they run TTS I am wearing a 26. They not only have a new updated higher back waistband but also shadow distressed and vintage ripped up back pockets. My favorite details of these jeans are the unraveled, frayed hem in the back as well as the chewed up back pockets.
