‘STREET EDIT’ FEATURING PIER 1 | THIS IS ME +
THE $500 NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY CONTINUES & THE GUCCI/URBAN DECAY GIVEAWAY BEGINS
Another ‘Street Edit’ with good friend Heather Anderson of SoHeather, and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger featuring Pier 1 Imports. I was thrilled when Pier 1 asked if I would like to be apart of their ‘This is Me’ Campaign. Since moving into my home back in August of 2014 I have not updated it at all. And what better time to add a few new, fresh home decor and entertaining pieces to your home than when there’s a little Spring in the air. Thanks to the Pier 1 This Is Me Campaign I’ve given my home a slight refresh for spring. Keep reading to find out what we chose and also for our favorite Summer Rosé Spritzer…
And for those of you that live in the DFW area, I’ll be at the Pier 1 Imports store at the Galleria (near the mall but not located inside it) along with Heather on Saturday, April 21 to celebrate a new Pier 1 Store Experience from 3-5pm (13710 Dallas Pkwy Suite #A Dallas, Texas 75240). Please stop by if you’re in the area. We both would love to meet you! They’ll have rosé, snacks, event-only offers plus a free tote and lots more. RSVP at pier1.com/DFWParty or text PARTY to 88788 OR feel free to also just stop by and see us if you’re out and about on Saturday.
Plus don’t forget to scroll all the way down the post because THE $500 NORDSTROM GIVEAWAY CONTINUES…
If you asked me to describe my interior home decor I would say that it’s all about “mixing a fresh, soft modern oasis in light, fresh palettes throughout the home but highlighting it with bold artwork throughout make my house a home”. What makes a house a home you ask? Your personality, your experiences, your style. It’s anything and everything about you. Heather and I began the update on my home by first tackling the color scheme. We decided to stick with blues, silver and off white accents to coincide with the color scheme that I already had in my home.
We began with a few pops of color in my Family Room with the Turquoise Alabaster Glass Serving Bowl, the Mineral Blue Chenille Throw, and a few Decorative Pillows. For my Breakfast Table and Bar Area we chose some chic Turquoise Alabaster Glass Dinnerware and Ocean Blue Mosaic Charger Plates as a part of our table scape scheme.
Then we followed up the rest of our update with simple, fresh modern pieces in my family room: the chic Oversized Shaggy Ivory Pillows (smaller size here), the Gold Confetti Glittered Pillows, Metallic Silver Basketweave Pillows in Dark Grey, the Faux Fur Mongolian Ivory Lumbar Pillow, the Regency 2-Tiered Server, and lastly, the stunning Silver Mercury Glass Candle Holders.
Keeping with the same lighter color scheme for the bar and tablescape as well with: the decorative Blue & White Mother Of Pearl Round Tray, the Snow White Napkin with Silver Estate Trim, the Chambray Gray Placemat with Blanket Stitching, the stunning Silver Mercury Glass Candle Holders, and the uber chic Silver Electroplate Stemware (also comes in stemless as well). We knew that all of these pieces would mix well with our bright, colorful decorative pieces. We knew that each of these pieces listed above would mix well with our bright, colorful decorative pieces.
We thought it would be fun to share with you this amazing rosé spritzer recipe perfect for your next spring gathering or soirée that’s low-calorie and oh so refreshing too!
A SUMMERY ROSÉ SPRITZER:

Instructions:
- Place 1 – 2 tablespoons of fresh strawberries and 2 – 3 lemon slices in the bottom of an old-fashioned glass.

I hope you enjoyed this post featuring a little peek into my home. I believe that juxtaposition is a key element in my style–a style that I have meticulously honed with not only my wardrobe but also in my home. I like to keep things simple, yet with a distinct modern edge. Whether it’s your home or your personal style, I’m all about knowing and pursuing what you want. For my home, that means combining sleek, simple modern pieces with artwork that stands out. My personal style has evolved from slightly conservative looks. Into wearing more fashion forward, edgy pieces yet always integrating them with simple, modern touches.
Whatever your style may be, you just have to find what’s ‘you’. Because ultimately, the most important thing is to be confident in yourself. Whether that be through showing others what makes you happy in your own home, or on a daily basis sharing with others who your true self really is. I want each of you to remember that the main reason for starting my blog in the first place is helping others feel beautiful on the inside and out always.
Just shoot me an email (tiffany@streetstylesquad.com) or leave a comment below if you have any questions at all. I’m so thankful for each and every one of you supporting me and Street Style Squad. I just wanted to take this time to say thank you so very much!
xx,
tiffany
