Street Edit Post Featuring LAGOS Jewelry While Wearing the Latest Denim Trend

Another ‘Street Edit’ with good friend Heather Anderson of SoHeather, and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger featuring some stunning LAGOS jewelry as well as some new super cool, high-rise GRLFRND jeans. When Lagos reached out to Heather and I about sponsoring a post for them I could not have been more excited and thrilled. I just love their classic always up-to-date pieces. I have a funny story I’ll tell you about later in the post about the ring that Heather and I both chose. These jeans are some our new favorites that we both just cannot stop wearing. You might also remember one of our last posts GRLFRND DENIM ‘STREET EDIT’ WITH MY BEST BLOGGER GIRLFRIEND where we featured another fabulous pair of GRLFND jeans.

Emerging from his belief that jewelry is one of the most personal, significant forms of art, Steven Lagos created LAGOS Jewelry in 1977. As a designer, his vision of the LAGOS woman, her timeless elegance, her integrity and her sensuality influence many of the collections. He says, “we make strong jewelry of understated lasting power, that transcends generations and the phases we go through in life”.

For me choosing my favorite items was very easy. My oldest daughter had just had her Junior Ring Ceremony at her high school Ursuline Academy (also were I graduated from in Dallas). This is where Juniors receive their school rings in a special spring ceremony marking their almost-senior status. I had chosen the school’s class ring but my daughter insisted on getting something different “that she would wear and cherish for years to come”. She chose, without hesitation the LAGOS KSL Gold Beaded X Ring. This ring symbolizes elegance and strength. Drawing its name from the Japanese word for circle, Enso. It symbolizes the expressive moment of Zen when the mind is free to let the body create. The infinite, unbroken circle of Enso embodies this enduring strength and everlasting focus.

I couldn’t think of a more perfect ring for her to embark on her final year of High School and beyond. I chose this same ring for myself but in the all gold version of the LAGOS X Ring. I love that we have this bond and I am hoping my other two daughters choose this ring as well for their Junior Ring Ceremony…I’ll keep you posted.

I also chose for my other item the LAGOS Luna Pearl Earrings. I was in desperate need of a new set. Pearls remain a symbol of power, happiness and honor. And they are always in style. These are freshwater cultured pearl earrings framed by flutes of sterling silver and finished with 14k gold post backing. They are perfect and soon became my favorites!
