As you ladies know, I am all about a fun girl’s night out or date night look any day. However, let’s be honest…we’ve all been living in our favorite cozy pieces during quarantine because we want to look good while still being comfortable! Whether you’re working from home, staying in to stay safe or dressing up sometimes here and there; these 4 summer pieces will become your go-to essentials all season long.
In addition to accomplishing a comfy-chic look all summer long, a sun-kissed glow on both your face and body can be easily achieved while at home, too! I’m sharing my top 5 favorite beauty products that I use on a daily basis (including 4 face products and 1 body). 4 SUMMER ESSENTIALS
1. HIGH CUT TANK OR BODYSUIT:
My TOTÊME Espera Rib Stretch Organic Cotton Tank (tank also found here, similar for less tank & similar tank for less here too & similar for less bodysuit for less). I truly believe every woman should own at least one ‘shoulder baring’ high cut tank and/or bodysuit to wear with everything! Why high cut & shoulder baring? Because these are the most flattering and feminine fit for all. They slenderize the shoulders and give a modern take on the white tank!
A tank or bodysuit can be paired with so many different pieces in your wardrobe including your favorite pantsuit, jeans, denim shorts, leggings or joggers like I have here today. Either one can elevate a look in seconds, I highly suggest investing in a few if you don’t already have some! Lately, you can find me in them almost daily.
2. JOGGERS/ LEGGINGS:
These linen jogger pants are so perfect for summer because they’re lightweight, flowy, and oh so chic. On the days when I want to be a little bit dressier than sweats, I wear these! They look great with basically any top or shoes you own! Wear them with sandals like I’ve done here or sneakers or flip-flops for errand-running.
I love these joggers so much that I bought them in two colors. I own the navy and the grey but I must admit I’m eyeing the black or green now. These come in 6 different options including grey, blue, black, camouflage, white and olive! Since these are true linen, they will stretch to the perfect fit, so I suggest you don’t size up. I am a size 2/4 in pants, and I got the XS in these. They fit perfectly. They have been a summer favorite of mine so far!
3. TRANSPARENT/ NUDE SANDALS:
My STEVE MADDEN Transport Studded Strappy Sandal in Clear/Transparent (also comes in a nude and a snakeskin pattern as well) are a Summer ‘Must Have’ Sandal. And on everyone’s list of most wanted sandals for 2020. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about so I finally ordered them. The extra padding on the heel I must say is my favorite part! It makes them stand out from the rest and oh so comfortable!
Another bonus is the nude color or the transparent color (like I’m wearing here today) will lengthen and elongate your legs which is of course what every woman wants! These strappy sandals also come in a stunning snakeskin as well. Plus they’re a definite must-have because they go with just about everything!
4. FEDORA OR BASEBALL HAT:
I am in love with my RAG & BONE Packable Fedora (also found here & also comes in army green & similar fedora here on sale & similar fedora for less). I wear this hat on repeat in the summertime and always get so many compliments! The contrast stitching forms a clever band on this paper-straw hat and it’s so easy to throw in your carry-on for your next getaway or trip to the pool!
Plus I’m also loving how hot baseball hat’s are right now as well & this one is a BIG favorite of mine (similar hat for much less & and this one for much less too).

1. CHARLOTTE TILBURY Airbrush Bronzing Powder
What makes this brand new bronzer by Charlotte Tilbury stand out from all the rest? It’s made with hyaluronic acid, yes hyaluronic acid! This makes it a total game-changer from all the rest of the bronzers that I’ve ever tried. Your skin looks so natural with a skin-perfecting filter. It blends in so smoothly with your skin and warms the look of any complexion! Plus a little bit goes a long way with this product which I just love. I liked it so much so that after I purchased the Airbrush Bronzer in Medium I then purchased it in the tan shade as well. The tan shade is darker for medium to tan skin tones. I use this darker tan shade for more conturing and when I am wanting more color. In addition to using these bronzers on your face, they can also be used on your body! Made to define and contour, this sulfate-free bronzing powder is a must-have for anyone wanting skin that glows!
2. Chanel Primer and/or Highlighter
This is one of the best beauty products to wear to the pool, beach, or on any summer day or night! Bright, radiant skin is hard for just about anyone to achieve naturally. It helps diffuse the perfect amount of light reflecting less wrinkles, lines, blemishes & sun damage. Furthermore, it gives you the right amount of sun-kissed, luminosity to your skin without being too glittery like many are. It’s simply the best and my 2nd game-changing makeup tip for beautiful sun kissed skin. I wear this in the light deep shade. The lightweight gel texture shines with ultra-pure ingredients for a bare-skin effect with 8 hours of hydration and comfort. My skin feels extra refreshed and energized every time I use this product. In addition to this water fresh tint, Chanel has the best contrast powder blush on the market as well as my all-time favorite contouring brush that I use all the time. Oh, and don’t forget the eyes! Chanel’s eye pencil and cream eyeshadow are two of the best beauty products on the market!
3. Kosas Tinted Face Oil Foundation
Talk about a flawless face! This tinted foundation is my 3rd game-changing tip for that perfect sun-kissed glow and can be applied within 10 seconds and be worn all day long. The breathable, silky, clean formula instantly evens tone, minimizes pores and erases imperfections while healing the skin underneath. I simply cannot say enough about how much I love this tinted moisturizer! It simply glides on your skin, makes it look and feel flawless and I wear it every single day! I also love that it is a clean beauty product and contains avocado oil that provides deep hydration making my skin feel more amazing than ever. I wear the #06 color for reference.
4. URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
This all nighter setting spray is also well-known for keeping your makeup looking fresh for up to 16 hours! This is a product I personally can’t do without – I love it so much! It’s good for all skin types. If you know you’ll be facing the summer heat for long amounts of time during the day, this weightless mist keeps your makeup from melting or fading into fine lines! It’s like magic. After applying, your skin is smooth and vibrant!
5. CHARLOTTE TILBURY Supermodel Body Shimmer
This amazing body shimmer is a Nordstrom-exclusive that achieves an elongated, slimmer-looking body in no time! Who doesn’t want that?! I love the jumbo size, but I also use the (CHARLOTTE TILBURY Supermodel Body Slimmer Shimmer to Shape, Hydrate & Glow in this smaller size too because it’s great for travel.
The coolest part about this product is that it contains a skin de-puffing agent that creates an optical illusion of long, lean limbs! Apply this for a date-night, girl’s night out, or summer party and you’re good to go. What I love most is that it goes on as a very smooth shimmer and it is NOT glittery at all.
