The off the shoulder was huge in 2016 (and still is now, don’t get me wrong) but after watching many of the fall ’17 fashion shows the last couple of weeks in New York I can tell you that the ‘one shoulder’ is the newer, updated version of this look. And one of the key trends that many of the top designers focused on at the recent fashion week. So don’t go and get rid of all your off the shoulders, keep wearing them but be on the lookout for the new ‘one-shoulder’. Not sure about all of you but I’ve had a huge obsession with the Balmain double breasted-blazer for as long as I can remember. I would say that this fabulously fitted wool-twill blazer has been worn by more celebrities, fashion icons, fashion bloggers and fashion insiders than I can count. If the price tag were not so dang high I would most definitely have purchased one by now. But with a price tag of $2,385.00 I just cannot reasonably spend that kind of money even for this widely famous double-breasted, with its perfectly fitted silhouette and its beautifully placed gold buttons. And what’s better than The Texas State Fair and Texas/Ou Weekend combined into one fun day? That would be absolutely nothing in my book. It seriously is one of the best days of the year (that I always look forward to) when you can combine all my fall favorites: yummy food, lots of fun, tons festivities, and of course last but definitely not least always some football.
