Tish Cox was recently written up in D Magazine about her unconventional new partnership with the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind. The Lighthouse employs people that are blind or visually impaired to sew Tish Cox’s amazing high-end line. “Cox made a five-year agreement with the Lighthouse’s newly appointed CEO Hugh McElroy, and they swiftly assembled a team including Forest Bell, the design division director at Wade College, who created a 10-week training course and figured out how to translate Cox’s garment construction into a process that worked for blind and visually impaired employees.” Therefore don’t wait another minute and get out there and purchase something from Tish’s amazing line because you no doubt will be supporting a wonderful cause. Not sure about all of you but I’ve had a huge obsession with the Balmain double breasted-blazer for as long as I can remember. I would say that this fabulously fitted wool-twill blazer has been worn by more celebrities, fashion icons, fashion bloggers and fashion insiders than I can count. If the price tag were not so dang high I would most definitely have purchased one by now. But with a price tag of $2,385.00 I just cannot reasonably spend that kind of money even for this widely famous double-breasted, with its perfectly fitted silhouette and its beautifully placed gold buttons.
