Updated Vintage Denim Skirt Everyone Needs
Everyone has that one denim skirt that they just cannot live without. Well I was on the lookout for a new one since I basically wore out my old favorite. This Re/Done updated denim skirt everyone needs is my new favorite since my other definitely was in desperate need of replacement.
What I love most about this vintage jean skirt is the reworked, super flattering, a-line, frayed hem. You might remember me wearing my favorite black Re/Done jeans while at NYFW here and here.
Re/Done, founded by Sean Barron and Jamie Mazur, is not your run-of-the-mill denim company, but rather a movement to create sustainable fashion while restoring individuality to the luxury denim fashion world. Made in downtown LA, each Re/Done denim piece is created from a pre-owned, ultra soft, pair of vintage Levis. This particular item has been sculpted into a modern cut (that every designer is copying), a short length, and features a fabulous, frayed hem. Please note though that each piece of Re/Done denim is unique, as it is sustain-ably crafted from vintage jeans. So your one-of-a-kind piece may vary slightly from the pictured item. Also please keep in mind that I sized up in both my Re/Done skirt and my all my Re/Done jeans as well. I’m normally a 26 and in both I got a 27.
