Valentine’s or Galentine’s Outfit Ideas For All
Not sure about you but I just recently learned about ‘Galentine’s Day’ and I absolutely love this. If you haven’t ever heard of it it’s all about celebrating Valentine’s Day with your girlfriends if you don’t have a significant other. I just love this idea! Why be sad, lonely or feel sorry for yourself when you can embrace this day and enjoy it with a fun and liberating GNO instead. I wish this was around back in the day when I was single. lol With this post I want to share with you some fabulous outfit ideas for ALL no matter who you’re celebrating with. You might remember the last time I did this type of post was MY PICKS FOR THE NORDSTROM HALF-YEARLY SALE + OTHER NOTABLE SALES. And I received some great feedback from that one so I thought I would do another one for this next fun holiday coming up.
Here I am wearing a blouse by one of my favorite lines called Nation Ltd. Nation became famous for their comfort, vintage tee and has grown into designing a full line of items that I just adore and cannot stop wearing. Everything they make is super soft & lightweight and you will not want to ever wear anything else. They worked with manufacturers to develop high-quality, beautiful fabrics with great hand feel. Customers who touch (and wear) their clothes love the softness, even to the point of becoming obsessed. I for one can raise my hand and say yes its true that’s me, I’m totally obsessed! They have written on their labels “Never Loan Out.” Seriously. Hang on to your Nation clothes because you won’t get them back. And this is true as well, my three daughters try to steal them all the time.
I’ve paired it with my favorite pair of Rag & Bone Velvet Skinny Jean (and here similar here). I have worn these so much over the years that I have bought two pairs now. And I found a great dupe that is just as fabulous as well. I also am holding over my shoulder my black bomber jacket by Meesh and Mary that only costs $36…can you believe? I then paired these velvet pants, top and bomber with my ever classic black Christian Louboutin heels (for less here), small YSL crossbody handbag, Gucci logo belt (similar here), and finally my Lizzie Fortunato fringe earrings (similar here).
Hope this gives you some inspiration for your next Holiday Look.
xx,
tiffany

January 24, 2017 at 6:55 pmFun! I hadn’t heard about Galentine’s Day either! That’s perfect!! And to be honest, I think amongst the girlfriends we’d have more fun on this day than with our hubbies. Don’t get me wrong: I love my husband. But, to be honest, I always feel bad for him on V-Day since it always seems so forced. I like the days when he’s thoughtful for no reason other than he loves me. Wouldn’t you agree?!
Beautiful outfit!
Love, Ann from I love your hair like this! It’s how it was when I first “met” you, so for me it’s like seeing an old friend. Your complexion works so well with this hair color. I’m rather amazed by the whole hair coloring process. I’ve never done it! Call me a virgin!! Hahha. For now I simply pull out the whites I see–and they’re growing. Eek! But, I think I’ll let it go natural–not sure yet. I’ll wait for it to happen, which I’m sure it will. For now, my hair goals are to grow it out. If you recall, I had long locks when you “met” me too. I miss those locks, so those are my hair goals at the moment. BUT, I must lose the extra weight I’m caring to carry off long hair….Hmm, we both celebrate a birthday next month I believe!!
Great outfit Catherine! You are our modern day Hepburn!!
Love, Ann from Kremb de la Kremb

January 29, 2017 at 10:21 amI so agree with you it puts so much ‘pressure’ on them each year and does seem a little forced. And yes Galentine’s sounds so fun! lol
